Two of my favorite ponies, Sunset Shimmer and Vinyl Scratch. Poor Sunset Shimmer has gone through much heartache and gotten crap from so many people (even her newfound 'friends'), even after her reformation in "Rainbow Rocks', and while she's such a tenacious pony/ person, everyone breaks at a certain point.

I especially like this friendship 'ship', because everyone related Vinyl to being a pony who's all about her music, and getting her feelings across through that medium. And no matter how lousy a day anyone's had, music, unlike people who call themselves your friends one day and might not be the next, will always be there to make someone feel better and lift their spirits.
